The Philippines, hosting over 52,177 species, faces similar threats, with around 700 species endangered due to deforestation, illegal wildlife trade, and poor policies.Key actions include stronger law enforcement, expanded protected areas, and increased conservation funding locally, and globally, enhanced cooperation, stricter pollution and trade regulations, and investment in sustainable development.
